If I could describe Bromo in two words, it would be "freezing" and "magnifique". The weather was so cold (it was below 10 degree celsius) that my fingers were stiff. But that didn't stop me from having fun. A few weeks before the trip, I read from some articles on the internet that Bromo has one of the most beautiful sunrises. And so it's true. The sunrise was so beautiful that words can't even describe it. I feel so grateful that I had the opportunity to witness sunrise at Bromo with my own eyes.

I Left My Heart in Istanbul

I miss Istanbul very much. Every time someone mentioned Istanbul, all I could think about was how beautiful the city is. When I went there last year, I was very astonished by its beautiful views. I remember a seagull came to sit on the window while I was having my breakfast. It looked like it was giving me a morning greeting. Things like that would never happen in Jakarta.

Another thing that I love about Istanbul is its historical sites. There are MANY historical sites in Istanbul. Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, and many more. Amongst all, my favorite is Topkapi Palace. Topkapi Palace was the residence of the sultans of the Ottoman Empire located at Sultanahmet. At Topkapi Palace, you can find plenty of ancient relics and artifacts. But what I like the most about Topkapi Palace is that from that place you can see Bosphorus Bridge, a bridge which connects Europe and Asia continental. Now how cool is that?

One thing you should not forget when visiting Istanbul is to visit the famous Grand Bazaar. But you must be really careful with your belongings because there are many pickpockets there. Oh, and you should not forget to buy Turkish ice cream. Basically it's just an ordinary ice cream, but they sell it in a hilarious way.

I have made a promise to myself, that one day I will visit Istanbul again. I left my heart in Istanbul and one day I will come again to pick it up.
